歯 feel Coke
最近走り込んでもいないのにアキレス腱が妙～に痛くて
やだなぁ～怖いなぁ～と思っていたのですが、
これはどうやら痛風の疑い。
早速、とあるページで見かけた痛風チェックリスト。
1） 男性である ⇒ ◯ 完全に。
2） 肥満である ⇒ ◯ 不満でもある。
3） お酒が大好き ⇒ ◯ どっちかというと大好き。
4） 40歳以上である ⇒ ◯ 見事に。
5） 魚の卵や動物の内臓などの珍味が好き ⇒ ◯ イクラならいくらでも。
6） ストレスを感じている ⇒ ◯ じんわりと深～く。
7） 激しい運動をすることがある ⇒ ◯ 運動するなら倒れるまで。
8） 家族に痛風患者がいる ⇒ △ みんな予備軍。
・・・とまぁほぼ確定です。プリン隊入隊です。
このまま手をこまねいていてもしょうがないのでなんとかせねばと調べてみて
とりあえず、酒を飲むときは水も飲む。せっかくなら痩せてゆく。
等を意識して生きてゆくことにしました。
さらに自分の生活、何か問題はないかと見直してみると、
数年に渡って水代わりにグビグビ飲みまくってるコーラ。
これも原因の一つになっている気がしてなりません。
そんなこんなでここは歯科のブログ。
思いついたように歯に悪いといわれるコーラについて、
ちょっとした実験をしてみました。
コーラに歯を漬けておくとどうなるか？
もうこの時点で、ジュワーっと泡たてて歯の溶けていく様子が脳裏に浮かんだと
思いますが、残念ながらそこまで面白い結果は出ませんでした。。
数日間漬け込んだあとの写真なんですが、茶色くコーラ色に染まった部分と
そうでない部分があるのがわかります。
誰もが溶けて欲しかった歯の表面のエナメル質、白いままです。
が、よく見るとわかるのですが、ツヤはまったくなくなっています。
カルシウムが溶け出た脱灰と呼ばれる状態です。
決して健康的な白さではありません。
そして茶色くなった部分。歯の表面の汚れや歯の内部の象牙質と呼ばれる所など
これらはコラーゲン等の有機質を多く含んでいるので色素が沈着したようです。
漬け込んでいる時に泡を多く発していたのもこの部分でした。
今回の結果では、形が一気に変わるような派手な溶け方はしなかったですが、
穴開いて象牙質まで達しているような虫歯がある場合、口の中でも泡を発するほどの
激しい反応が起きていると予想されます。そして写真のような着色も残します。
これだけ酸に対して抵抗してくれる歯をあっけなく溶かしてゆくのですから、
歯の表面に酸を生み出す細菌を残すことがどれだけ危険なことかわかります。
というわけで、きれいそうでも歯を磨く、
見えない努力が、見える悪夢を防いでくれるわけです。
